Mare Nostrum connects different locations through a sequence of public installations, from urban spaces to coastal landscapes, documenting Andrea Roggi’s work across the Mediterranean context.

Preparing for a distributed exhibition
Mare Nostrum brings the work into different public spaces along the Mediterranean coast. Giacomo Roggi’s site visit provides the basis for a studio briefing focused on the installation setting and the direction of the visual coverage.
We assess and prepare the equipment for the photographic service, video documentation and social content. The production follows a shared method across the project’s different locations.
On location / 02
Cities, squares and coastal life
On arrival, we photograph and film the surroundings and everyday life. Urban spaces, squares and coastal settings are part of the story: they place each installation within the Mediterranean itinerary described by the project.
Installation / 03
Following the work into public space
With the installation underway, Francesco Adreani documents the operations on video and Giulia Bidi gathers vertical footage for social channels. Giacomo Roggi directs the visual approach and photographs the process.
The documentation connects the activity of installation with the public setting that will remain around the finished sculpture.
Photography / 04
The sculpture within its setting
Once the installers have finished, Giacomo Roggi makes the formal photographs for institutional communication and the press. This stage records the completed work within its particular urban or coastal context.
Francesco Adreani continues filming the sculpture and the backstage of the shoot. Without the installation activity, the footage can describe the finished presentation and its surroundings.

A journey told through social content
Giulia Bidi’s social content gives the different stages of Mare Nostrum a format suited to social channels. Reels, potential interviews and promotional pieces draw on the vertical coverage to communicate the work across its locations.
