Behind the project.

L’Art au Sommet forms part of Élan Vital, the exhibition journey following Andrea Roggi’s sculptures across Paris, Saint-Tropez and Courchevel in collaboration with Galeries Bartoux.

From the first site visit to the finished photographs, this article follows our working approach: preparation, installation coverage, the artwork shoot and social content.

Preparation / 01

Site visit and preparation

Our work begins with a site visit by Giacomo Roggi. Back in the studio, a briefing establishes the creative direction and the approach to the shoot.

We then assess the equipment required and prepare what we need for photography, video and social content.

On location / 02

The place, before the artwork

On arrival, we begin by photographing and filming the surroundings and everyday life. These first images establish the setting in which the sculpture will be installed.

Installation / 03

Documenting the installation

As the installation begins, we start documenting the work. Each member of the team follows a different part of the process, under Giacomo Roggi’s creative direction.

Francesco Adreani handles the video coverage. Giulia Bidi captures vertical footage for social media. Giacomo Roggi directs the visual approach and takes photographs.

Together, these perspectives record the stages that lead to the completed installation.

Photographing the finished work

Once the installation is complete, the focus shifts to the artwork itself. Giacomo Roggi produces the formal photographs intended for institutional communication and publication in the press.

At the same time, Francesco Adreani continues filming both the backstage activity and the sculpture, now clear of the installation crew and visible in its final setting.

Social / 05

Creating social content

Giulia Bidi then develops the social content: reels, interviews and other promotional formats, as appropriate to the project.

These sit alongside the formal photographs and film coverage, adapting the story for social channels.
